Cancellation & Refund Policy

At WatchStar (operated by FILMONIA CINE GARDEN), we ensure a transparent billing process. Please review our policy regarding verification, subscriptions, and cancellations below.

1. Subscription & Auto-Debit Process

Verification Fee (Free Trial/Registration): To verify your payment method for a free trial or new account, a nominal verification fee (e.g., ₹5) will be initiated. This amount is strictly for account validation and will be automatically refunded to your original payment method once the verification is successful.

Auto-Debit Activation: Upon successful verification, you authorize an auto-debit for 1 month subscription plan. The first subscription charge will occur after the trial period ends or immediately upon your chosen plan selection.

2. Cancellation & Stopping Auto-Debit

Stop Future Charges: You may cancel your subscription at any time through the "Account Settings" section of the WatchStar App.

Immediate Effect: Once you initiate a cancellation, no further auto-debits will occur. Your payment mandate will be terminated, ensuring you are not charged for the next billing cycle.

Continued Access: After cancellation, you will retain access to all premium content until the final day of your current paid billing period.

3. Refund Policy

Non-Refundable Subscription: Once an auto-debit for a monthly, quarterly, or yearly subscription is processed, the amount is non-refundable. Since WatchStar provides instant access to a digital content library, we do not offer partial or full refunds for any active or used billing cycles.

Refund Exceptions:

  • Verification Fee: As stated above, the small verification/trial fee is always refunded.
  • Technical Errors: In cases of confirmed "double-billing" or technical failures where the amount is debited but the service is not activated, a refund will be processed to the original payment source within 7–10 working days.

4. Chargebacks and Disputes

We request users to contact our support team at +91 97696 57739 to resolve any billing discrepancies before contacting their bank. Raising a dispute for a valid subscription charge is against our terms and will result in immediate account suspension.
